Game of Thrones Pink Dragon Scale Nail Art
Good evening, everyone! I know today's post is a little bit late, but I wanted it to coincide with the Season 3 premiere of Game of Thrones.
I wanted to do something a little different than the house logos, so I decided to tackle dragon scales in honor of Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons!
Also, I wanted to do something a little different than the average green/gold scales of most fictional dragons. So I went for pink!

Swatch and Review: Julep Marion
Good day, lovelies! A very quick post for you all while I'm in Florida on vacation! Because I'm dipping my feet in the pool, I thought a shimmery blue would be perfect for this post.
I received Julep Marion, named for Academy Award winning actress, Marion Cotillard, in my February Box! Right now, you can receive your first Julep Maven box for FREE by clicking here and entering the code FREEBOX. All you pay is $3.50 for shipping. A $20 box for just $3.50? Sounds like a steal to me!
Julep Marion is a rich teal nail polish with aquamarine shimmer. The above is with two coats.
I love that is has such depth and dimension to it. It's very glowy, in a way.
So what do you think of Julep Marion? Are you a maven? Are you planning on becoming one?
Have a great Hump Day!
*Disclaimer: The Julep links in this post are Princess Polish's referral link. You may also visit Julep.com if you wish to enroll in a Maven subscription without the use of her referral.*

Disney Princess Nail Fail
Big surprise... no nail blogger or nail artist is perfect. We all have ideas that seem awesome on paper, but never pan out in reality.
Well, here's one of them...
I was inspired by Chelsea of The Nail Network's Ariel manicure, specifically the use of Ariel's skin tone and distinct hairstyle on the thumb. I thought it'd be cool to use all ten of the official Disney princesses, one for every finger, in a similar manner.
For the record, Disney counts the big six of Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Jasmine, newcomer Tiana, as well as Mulan, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel in this club.
Ariel turned out so well! I used a variety of Art Club nail art paints over Zoya Audrey.
In light of this, I had SUCH high hopes...
All I can say is FREAKING BLONDE PRINCESSES! I must have tried to do Cinderella six different times, Sleeping Beauty four times, and Rapunzel twice (she was last). And after that, I gave up.
Each one of them has such structured hair that I couldn't, for the life of me, fit them onto my nail and make them look right.
So, in the end, I went with the Minnie Mouse Nails I posted yesterday. I love them, I do. But one day, I will figure out how to paint the trio of blondes on my nails.
Until tomorrow!

Zoya Disney Nails
Good afternoon from sunny Orlando, Florida! I am currently typing this post from my spot in line on Test Track at Epcot! It's a two hour wait, so why not do something productive?
I did two manicures in honor of my trip to Disney, but only decided to wear one. You'll see why with tomorrow's.
For today's nail art, I used all Zoya polishes: Elisa, Trixie, Purity, Raven, and Audrey!
I wanted to do something classy because I have a Passover Seder to attend this week, but something also funky that screams Minnie Mouse!
So what do you think of my Minnie Mouse tips?

Pebbles Takes Morristown
Today's post is a very bittersweet one. For those of you who have been following me for a while, you may remember that I have been raising a puppy for The Seeing Eye in Morristown, the oldest guide dog organization in the United States. She is a black labrador retriever named Pebbles and was placed with me on Valentine's Day 2012.

Hump Day Holo: Julep Rebel
Happy Hump Day, everyone!
Today's post is Julep Rebel, which is billed as a silver scattered holo. It came in my February box and is named for star of Pitch Perfect, Rebel Wilson.
Well, as it turns out, this is not as holographic as billed. Not even scattered. It just seems like a matte silver foil. I was rather disappointed by this. Oh well.
Even though this isn't holographic, do you like Rebel as a matte silver foil?
