Swatch and Review: Pacifica Pale Blue Eyes

Hello, everyone! Today I'm featuring a a shade from Pacifca's 7 Free Nail Polish, a new category for the brand via their color collection, which launched last year.  According to Pacifica, they are one of the only brands in the world doing 7 Free, meaning this  polish is free of parabens, phthalates, toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde and resin and full of color! Additionally, their polishes are 100% vegan and cruelty-free!

Today, I'm featuring a shade called Pale Blue Eyes.

Pale Blue Eyes is a dusty periwinkle cream polish. I applied three coats for photos and while it wasn't that hard to work with for a pastel cream, you can see the tiniest hint of visible nail line. However, the good news is that the VNL only appears in photos and this was far more opaque in person.

Overall, I really liked this color. It didn't have a very lustrous finish on the nail, looking a bit rubbery in finish. But that wasn't necessarily a bad thing and a top coat will help you achieve a shinier look. I thought these bottles were absolutely adorable and loved the top of the bottle with all the seashells!

The price point on these seems pretty fair too for 7-free at $9, in line with other salon brands like Zoya, for example, that are cruelty-free and vegan in the same range.

To check out the other twenty-four shades in the collection, you can visit the Pacifica website.
